Must Have Skills:
- Prior work as a Financial Analyst with a focus on supporting technology or IT operations.
- Solid intermediate command of Excel, including creating pivot tables and connecting multiple files to consolidate data.
- Intermediate proficiency with SQL for querying and retrieving data.
- Hands-on familiarity with the Sage ERP platform.
- Sharp analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a knack for translating complicated financial information into clear takeaways.
Responsibilities:
- Review technology-related spending, spot emerging patterns, and share straightforward, useful cost insights with IT leadership and additional stakeholders.
- Create, automate, and upkeep financial reporting within Excel and Sage, keeping outputs accurate and delivered on schedule.
- Serve as the connection point between the IT and Accounting teams, promoting transparent dialogue and alignment around budgets, spending, and financial workflows.
- Compile and evaluate IT financial summaries on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, incorporating forecasting and variance reviews.
- Help manage IT invoice handling, vendor communication, and the reconciliation of payments, along with month-end and year-end close tasks tied to IT costs.
- Maintain trackers for invoices, payments, and project expenses, safeguard data accuracy through routine audits, and contribute to efforts that refine reporting processes and boost efficiency.
